BeaveRun Championship Karting Series

BeaveRun Motorsports Complex hosts a season long series at the .82 mile Wilson Circuit. The BeaveRun Championship Kart Series features a growing field featuring classes from Kid Karts to Shifters. Twelve races comprise the series schedule with racers needing to run just eight races to be eligible for the season ending awards.

The series kicks off in late April and runs through September with racing primarily on Sunday. Three double race weekends are sprinkled throughout the schedule featuring full race programs for all classes on both Saturday and Sunday. The season closes out with a favorite event in the local karting community, the Great Pumpkin Race. This event draws racers from all over for a two day fun race format featuring both clockwise and counterclockwise racing along with special relay races.

Classes for youth racing begin with the Kid Karts for the five to eight year olds followed by the Cadet class for eight to twelve year olds. The final tier for the younger racers is the Yamaha Junior Can class where racers from the ages of twelve to fifteen compete before moving on to a variety of senior classes.

Those karters sixteen years of age and up compete in a variety of classes including Yamaha Pipe, an evolution of the Junior Can program. The highly competitive TAG class routinely features the largest fields each week while the shifter kart classes continue to grow on the strength of the Stock Honda program.

Of course a spot will be found for any racer that passes through the gates whether they are entered in a Championship class or not.

BeaveRun offers ample track time at each event including a minimum of two extended practice sessions, group qualifying, a heat race and a feature. A typical race day features 40 - 60 minutes of track time! Each event is run rain or shine which means a trip to the track is never wasted. Typically, open practice is scheduled the day previous to each race to better accommodate the traveling racers as well.

Season Memberships for individuals and families are available, offering reduced fees, reserved pit spots and advanced registration. For more information - Membership Programs

BeaveRun looks forward to being part of your 2007 racing schedule!
