Security & Emergency Driver Training:

SecurityAdvanced Driving Dynamics (ADD) is for the driver who desires to improve driving skills beyond basic road training. This is the cornerstone for all more advanced courses, and includes critical vehicle dynamics, high speed driving and stress management.

Security Driving Course (SDC) is a two-day course aimed at the true security professional. Beginning with vehicle dynamics students, learn to handle their vehicle in true emergency situations. Course covers high speed driving, barricade breaching, escape maneuvers, precision immobilization technique (PIT), vehicle assault resistance (VAR), threat assessment and attack scenarios.

Emergency Response Driver (ERD) is a two-day course designed for the emergency response professional. Day one consists of all the ADD skills. Day two has more high speed driving, driving high speed on unfamiliar roads, pursuit techniques, imminent collision and team pursuit.

Tactical Vehicle Interception (TVI) is a 2-½ day course designed especially for police, government and law enforcement professionals. This takes ERD to an advanced level. Pursuit skills are enhanced to end chases in a safe manner. PIT is used to stop forward progress of the fleeing vehicle. TVI is used to immobilize target vehicles completely.

Professional Driving Instructor (PDI) is a weeklong exploration of teaching techniques used in security driver education. All are welcome, and exacting driving and teaching skills are essential to graduate as a full PDI. Several levels of completion are possible as well. Overall, PDI is the most extensive training we offer! This is a pass/fail course.

Motorcade Operators Course (MOC) is a 2-½ day course that combines a SDC with motorcade techniques. Students will learn communication skills, high-speed convoy and escape procedures. Class concludes with extensive drills and attack scenarios.

Security Driving Refresher (SDR) is a single day intense review of our two-day SDC. Driver skills are tested and judgment is challenged as each participant works through various scenarios.
