Third Annual Cannonball One Lap of America School and Dinner at BeaveRun

On Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd, BeaveRun MotorSports ComPlex will hold its third annual Cannonball One Lap of America Drivers School and Banquet.  Join us to participate in the school or to watch cannonball racers prepare for this grueling 10-day competition.  The BeaveRun Driving School is open to the public and taught by some of Americas best racers.  Upon completion of the BeaveRun curriculum, students may earn the right to compete in the Cannonball One Lap of America, which will race into BeaveRun with two time trials on Sunday, May 1st.

On the evening of Saturday, April 2nd, BeaveRun will host the One Lap Banquet, beginning with a Cocktail Hour (6-7pm) complete with appetizers and music on the balcony overlooking the track and followed by a catered dinner in our new conference area with a dais of notable speakers.  Banquet tickets are just $30.00 and can be purchased before March 18st by calling BeaveRun at 724.535.1000.

(School participants receive a banquet ticket with registration)

One Lap of America: a motorsports event accessible to the average Joe, where the finest meals available are at gas station convenience stores, personal hygiene takes a holiday and friendships (sometimes marriages) are stretched to the limits.

Brock Yates, the father of the original Cannonball, created the current format: Nearly 24 hours a day driving with competition taking place as time trials on race tracks throughout the country.  The event, as it always has been, is foremost one of endurance and vehicle preparation. The vehicles and their drivers must survive over 5000 miles of driving interspersed with battle fatigue, weather, traffic and the demands of high-speed competition. (www.onelapofamerica.com)

All events are open to the public.
