4th of July Endurance
Relay Race
The first non-points special event race of the 2008
BeaveRun Karting season is set for the weekend of July 4-6th. This event
will be a departure from the standard BeaveRun Championship Karting Series
format featuring several different races highlighted by Australian Pursuit
Races on Saturday and Team Endurance Races on Sunday!
Event Schedule:
Friday Practice from 1pm to 8pm
Saturday July 5th Practice and Australian Pursuit

Classes: Kid Kart , Cadet,
Yamaha Jr Can, Yamaha Heavy,
TAG, Stock Honda

race fees same as normal race days, super members are half price.
Kid Karts:
will run 3 heat races full course normal race format. Heat 1 at the start
of
Qualifying, Heat 2 at completion of Qualifying, and Heat 3 at the
start of Round 1 races.
Format:
Drivers will qualify and run two rounds of Australian Pursuit Round 1 will
be based on Qualifying and Round 2 will be inverted. Rounds 1 and 2 will be
equally weighted, in case of a tie we will go with fastest lap during either
race (not qualifying). Races will be 10 laps each.
Australian
Pursuit Rules: Single file rolling start. Once you have been passed, your
race is over. Race ends when there is only 1 kart left or 10 laps have been
completed, whichever is first. If it goes to 10 laps drivers that have not
been passed will be scored in the order in which they cross the finish
line.

drivers, each racer drives their own kart the transponder will act as the
“baton”.
