BeaveRun to Participate in the Grand Prix of Cleveland
Wampum, PA
June 9,
2007 -
BeaveRun MotorSports Complex and the
Grand Prix of Cleveland are excited to announce an agreement bringing the
two biggest names in modern road racing in the area
together for the
first time.
The Grand Prix, hosted at the Burke
Lakefront Airport on the shores of Lake Erie in Downtown Cleveland, remains
the biggest motorsports event in the area all season long. The three day
Festival of Speed from June 22-24 brings some of
the world's best racers and fastest
machines together for an exciting calendar of events featuring the Champ Car
World Series along with the Champ Car Atlantic Series,
Star Mazda Series, Cooper Tires Formula
Ford 2000 Series and the Touring Challenge for Corvettes.
This unique airport layout affords fans
the chance to see all of the action on the wide, fast course.
However the
action doesn't end on track as the Festival of Speed concept features live
music, go-kart racing, family zones and much more throughout the weekend.
The Grand Prix is the perfect place for
race fans in the community to enjoy the best of professional motorsports.
The BeaveRun racing community in particular could not have asked for better
timing. No on-track events scheduled
at BeaveRun any time during the three days of
Grand Prix of Cleveland activities affords many the
opportunity to enjoy this world class event.
On the other hand, race fans who find one
weekend of racing just not enough to whet their appetite for speed can enjoy
a world class racing venue just 100 miles from downtown Cleveland - BeaveRun
MotorSports Complex!
BeaveRun features three courses including
the 1.6 mile natural terrain North Course, 6.5 acre Vehicle Dynamics Area
and the world renowned .8 mile Wilson Circuit karting venue. Spectators can
enjoy the very best of amateur and pro racing including the SCCA Nationals,
portions of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix and the WKA Manufacturers Cup
karting spectacular.
The more adventurous find BeaveRun to be
the perfect adrenaline outlet from sportbike programs to Autocross and
lapping sessions for cars to karting activities from rental karts to a
racing series featuring classes for racers from 5 to 65 years old.
Working together to promote each other's
activities and keep the local motorsports community excited and informed is
a natural fit for two of the biggest names in racing in the area. In
addition to co-promoting each other's events throughout the year, BeaveRun
will participate in the Grand Prix of Cleveland activities hosting booths
featuring some of the machines that compete at the course. BeaveRun will
also host two special BeaveRun Challenge races in conjunction with the
karting program at the Grand Prix of Cleveland.
