Bertil Roos Challenge at
BeaveRun!
The Bertil Roos Racing School and BeaveRun Championship Karting Series have
joined forces to offer a tremendous opportunity for racers competing at
BeaveRun over the final five races of the 2007 season.
Bertil Roos Racing School has contributed a
Three Day Road Racing School using the Bertil Roos FF2000 open wheel
cars to one driver from BeaveRun based on a combination of participation and
performance in the Yamaha Heavy, TaG and Shifter classes.
The Three Day Road Racing School is the cornerstone of the Bertil Roos
racing programs (no prior experience necessary). The course is crammed with
intensive training on how to drive a racecar at the limit. No rev-limits are
ever imposed, passing is allowed from the moment you strap in to the
racecar, and there is no crash damage liability. Bertil Roos provides the
equipment and instruction required to progress safely at your own pace.
A drawing will be held at the BeaveRun Great Pumpkin Race from the top ten
points scorers over the final five races based on both participation and on
track performance.
For the Performance element, a single point will be scored for each Pole
Pre-Final and Final win over the final five races in each of the three
senior races - Yamaha, TaG and Shifter.
Participation will be heavily weighted with each race attended being worth
progressively more. For the first race attended of the final five, each
racer will score a single point, for the second race - two additional
points, third - three additional points, fourth - four additional points and
finally the fifth race attended would be worth five points. So for a person
attending all five races they would score 1+2+3+4+5 for a total of 15
points.
All racers in the top ten in total points will then be entered in a drawing
for the Bertil Roos Three Day Road Racing School. The winner will be drawn
during the Sixth Annual Great Pumpkin Race - October 20-21.
Make your plans to visit BeaveRun often as the season winds to a close to
better your chances of getting behind the wheel of a Bertil Roos FF2000 open
wheel machine!
